I would have liked to see more assistance available for senior guests. It would have been helpful if the children working there could provide some guidance or recommendations specifically tailored for older individuals.

The location of this retreat is perfect - just a short drive to the city and close to a Tesco. the cottage itself is well-maintained and offers stunning views of the river and hills. the rooms are comfortable with lovely beds, and the bathrooms are equipped with toiletries. the host is welcoming and responsive, ensuring that guests have a relaxing stay. the hot tub is a great addition, perfect for unwinding in the evenings, and the cottage has ample entertainment options with Sky and Netflix available. the attention to detail is impressive, from the personalized hot tub towels to the provision of kids' cutlery and plates.

One downside mentioned is that the river bank walk options near the retreat lead to a sewage farm or a rundown boat yard.

Plus, they even provided extra touches like personalized hot tub towels and kids' cutlery and plates. it was a fantastic experience and definitely a place we would love to return to!
